| This painting was made up of 8 panels each 4ft by 4ft, I had them pinned
to a wall in a gallery at Camden lock in London. The canal runs through
Regents Park, past the Zoo and into Camden lock then off to the English
countryside. Camden lock houses a very busy crafts market. It was the opening day of this new gallery and I started painting at about 1pm and painted through until the official opening at about 6pm. During the day several children came by to add drawings and naturally zoo animals came into the picture, somehow they seemed to be sailing up the canal in barge boats. By the time of opening we had produced a raw and beautiful picture nearly 16ft long by 8ft high. It remains one of my favorite live paintings. Click on any painting to enlarge.
